Continue ShoppingJohn Lennon Listening to the White Album 1968
"John Lennon Listening to the White Album" was shot in his basement flat on Montague Square. I didn't really discover it until 1983 when working on my first book "Dear Mr. Fantasy." It became my favorite picture of John, for years the only photograph of mine I kept hanging in my home. Now a platinum print, it still hangs.
This session of John Lennon was purchased by Yoko Ono who now owns the copyright. Unhappily I can no longer sell prints, but this photograph, along with my photographs of The Beatles from Let It Be and The Beatles last photo session at Twickenham are included in my beautifully reproduced book: ETHAN RUSSELL PHOTOGRAPHS available in this store. (see "Books).
