Something about this photo always appealed to me. Being on the road - at least in 1969 on this road - was way more appealing from the outside looking in. After the show, the extraordinary Charlie Watts would retire to his room and do meticulous line drawings of his amazingly conventional hotel suite. I begged him to publish them. I'm sure I was not alone. but to my knowledge he never did.
